Researcher in CERIS since September 2012. He is currently working at Conservation Practice - Historic Buildings Consultants. He was a researcher on the NANORENDER Project. He obtained his Master’s Degree (2011) and his Ph.D. (2018) in Civil Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico - Universidade de Lisboa.

His main interests are maintenance and conservation of modern and historical buildings, building management, development and analysis of new construction material and thermal insulation materials.
