Multiperformance and sustainable coatings have been developed for building application (new and existing ones). Field, performance and durability of conventional and innovative coatings have been carried out in this research. Studies have focused on renders in-service performance; aerogel-based renders development; incorporation of waste and fibres on composite with different nature (synthetic and from biomass). Durability has been assessed after accelerated ageing cycles and natural exposure. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and ecotoxicity studies has been carried out to achieve a sustainable perspective (Technical, Economic and Social).
