PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at CERIS - Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability, Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, Portugal since September 2017.

After 6-year Degree in Architecture at FA – University of Lisbon (Portugal, 1999), worked as a designer in building renovation and as a technician of Portuguese National System for Energy and Indoor Air Quality Certification of Buildings (SCE).

The PhD research focuses on building thermal renovation, specifically on adaptive building envelopes and auto-responsive technologies.
